Admiralty law governs all issues in connection with vessels, their arrest, detention, sale, it include the disputes between parties, loss or damage, loss of life and other related claims. The High Courts have powers under the Admiralty (Jurisdiction and Settlement of Maritime Claims) Act, 2017 to adjudicate all maritime claims. The Division bench of the High Court has appellate jurisdiction for any judgment, decree or final order or interim order of a single judge of the High Court under Admiralty Act, 2017.
The Firm advises the legal issues and drafts the agreements in relation to maritime affairs, and also represents its client before the Hon'ble High Court of competent jurisdiction.
